REFLECTION

YANSIMA (Reflection) was composed by Ayşe Ela AKTAR as part of her studies in the Composition Department at the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, High School of Music and Performing Arts. It is a single-movement piano piece that unfolds through a simple musical language, reflecting an internal flow. The fluid melody in the right hand, combined with the accompaniment in the left, creates a sense of continuous motion, while occasional chromatic passages introduce subtle tension and color. Triplets and legato phrasing soften the flow, and transitions between the lower and higher registers add depth to the work. Following a gradual increase in intensity, a *ritardando* brings the piece to a calm and tranquil conclusion. The professional piano performance of the work was recorded in a studio setting by AKTAR SOUNDWORKS and is identified by an international ISRC (International Standard Recording Code).
