THE CAPTURED KNIGHT - DON QUIXOTE

The pieces in this album were composed for the documentary *Knight of Nature from Captivity: Don Quixote*, produced by İris Anka and directed by Mehmet Gün. The themes chosen for the four tracks reflect various chapters of Cervantes’s life: his time in Spain, his participation in the Battle of Lepanto as part of the Holy League fleet, his subsequent capture by the Ottoman Empire, and his periods of imprisonment in Istanbul and Algiers. The documentary has been made available to audiences on various broadcasting platforms, both in Turkey and internationally. The mastering of the album was carried out by Ahmet Gökhan Coşkun, who is recognized both in Turkey and globally as one of the most accomplished figures in his field.
